Debbie and Paul Moore rarely miss a local meet and always have very good tickets to sit and watch people run fast and throw stuff, particularly at meets like the 2009 USA Track & Field Championships.

We had a fine evening at Brian and Linda’s to welcome Rich Clarkson and George Olson on a visit to Eugene. We told a lot of great stories from the “old days.”

  • Rode out past the airport to buy golf balls. No, I'm not a golfer, but I needed some.
  • The duchess has bee class Saturday. I get to do nothing. Let's hear it for honey.
  • Just given the word: I'll never get to live in Ivujivik, Quebec.
  • Red sky in Oregon tonight, sailor’s delight. 8,600 scooter miles as of today.
  • At the Oregon Logging Conference reception with a friend.
  • Sunday afternoon naps are good.
  • Turned 8,500 Vespa miles on this blue sky Oregon day.
